Purpose:
Welcome to the America's 911 Foundation's National Volunteer System.
Your information is 'only' used to assist 'your' community in a time of need.
This information will be kept secure and will not be shared with any third parties.
This can be thought of as an enhancement to the current Amber Alert System.
We use it to directly contact people who are located within a certain radius of an incident.
Incidents can be:
Lost or Missing Children,
Natural Disasters,
Catastrophic Events,
Search and Rescue needs.
Communications to you can be in the form of email, phone call, text message from the Foundation.
You will 'not' be contacted by anyone other than the Foundation.
Your registration does 'not' commit you to assist with any particular event.
However, it does provide you with the opportunity to assist when you can.
As we complete phase III of this system you will be able to login and see where
ongoing incidents need assistance outside of your local area.
Again, your registration does 'not' commit you to assist with any event.
