New Rider Orientation

Our plan is to do two (2) sessions, one early and one late, so that as many of the people that want to attend, can.  We’re proposing to do the first session at 5:00 PM and the second at 9:00 PM.  These times will allow most people to get to Somerset and get settled and still have time to get out to stage for the ride to the Flight 93 site for the Memorial Service.  The 9:00 PM time allows people time to get back from the site, get some food, etc.

Our plan is to cover the following topics:

1.       Welcome to the 8^th Annual America’s 9/11 Ride

2.       Review the overall mission / purpose of the Foundation

3.       Review the purpose of the ride

4.       Explain staging procedures

5.       Review Road Rules

6.       Explain fueling procedures

7.       Explain parking in Crystal City and New York City

8.       Ensure everyone is aware of the sponsorship / VIP program

9.       Questions

We will be using the Black Diamond Room at the Quality Inn for the various meetings.
